Hope of Israel Senior Center is a voluntary non-profit incorporated organization founded in 1973 to provide a community focal point where older adults could come together for services and activities that reflect their needs and interests. The Center provides older adults, age 60 and over, with a congregate lunch program, health promotion activities, educational, recreational and cultural activities, in addition to social services. The Center also serves as a resource for the entire community, providing information on aging and support for family caregivers.
Healthy Living. Healthy Aging. It’s never too late to start.
Recent studies show that engaging in life enhancing activities, which exercise the body, stimulate the mind, encourage creativity, promotes longer, healthier and vital lives.
The mission of Hope of Israel Senior Center is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens in our community, providing a safe and congenial environment that supports members in retaining their independence and maintaining a sense of purpose in their lives. We work to create an environment where older adults will understand that aging does not have to limit their creativity, productivity or enjoyment of life.
Hope of Israel Senior Center welcomes all individuals without regard to their race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, handicap or national origin.
