We are here to Help.
Let Hope Senior Center Be Your Vital Resource.
Hope Senior Center is a voluntary non-profit incorporated organization founded in 1973 to provide a community focal point where older adults could come together for services and activities that reflect their needs and interests. The Center provides older adults, age 60 and over, with a congregate lunch program, health promotion activities, educational, recreational and cultural activities, in addition to social services. The Center also serves as a resource for the entire community, providing information on aging and support for family caregivers.
Our Mission
The mission of Hope Senior Center is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens in our community, providing a safe and congenial environment that supports members in retaining their independence and maintaining a sense of purpose in their lives. We work to create an environment where older adults will understand that aging does not have to limit their creativity, productivity or enjoyment of life.
Hope Senior Center welcomes all individuals without regard to their race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, handicap or national origin.
Funded in part under contract with the NYC Department for the Aging
